[Verse 1]

Smile an everlasting smile

A smile can bring you near to me

Don't ever let me find you gone

Cause that would bring a tear to me

[Verse 2]
This world has lost it's glory
Let's start a brand new story
Now my love, right now
There'll be no other time
And I can show you how, my love

Talk in everlasting words
And dedicate them all to me
And I will give you all my life
I'm here if you should call to me

[Bridge]
You think that I don't even mean
A single word I say

[Chorus]

It's only words, and words are all I have

To take your heart away

[Bridge]
You think that I don't even mean
A single word I say

[Outro]
It's only words, and words are all I have
To take your heart away
It's only words, and words are all I have

To take your heart away
It's only words, and words are all I have

To take your heart away

“Words” is a single written by The Bee Gees, which was released in January 1968. It was dedicated for their first manager Robert Stigwood. Barry and Robin Gibb each described how the lyrics came into shape during a 1996 VH1 Storytellers TV show:

Barry recalled the meeting at Robert Stigwood’s home:

‘Words’ was written by me at Adams Row when I was staying at Robert [Stigwood]’s place, A lot of people began to cover that song, so over the years it’s become a bit like ‘To Love Somebody’. I didn’t know it wasn’t on an album — that’s strange how it used to work in those days. We used to bang singles out one after another.

Robin explains what were ‘words’:

“Words” reflects a mood, and was written after an argument. Barry had been arguing with someone, I had been arguing with someone, and happened to be in the same mood. [The arguments were] about absolutely nothing. They were just words. That is what the song is all about; words can make you happy or words can make you sad.

In 1968, the song topped number 1 in the Media Control Charts(German), Dutch Top 40(Netherlands) and the Schweizer Hitparade(Switzerland) Charts. This song was covered by other notable artists, including Rita Coolidge in 1978 and Boyzone in 1996.

Words is a song by the Bee Gees, written by Barry, Robin & Maurice Gibb. The song reached No. 1 in Germany, Canada, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.

"Words" was the Bee Gees third UK top 10 hit, reaching number 8, and in a UK television special on ITV in December 2011 it was voted fourth in "The Nation's Favourite Bee Gees Song". The song has been recorded by many other artists, including hit versions by Rita Coolidge in 1978 and Boyzone in 1996. This was Boyzone's fifth single and their first number one hit in the UK.

WHEELS APPEARING TO BE SPINNING BACKWARDS - It is known as the Wagon wheel effect. This effect is observable mainly on television or in movies. The cameras used in movies don’t capture continuous footage, but rather many images per second. Usually, this capture rate is approximately 24 to 50 frames per second. Our brain fills in the voids between these images by creating an illusion of continuous movement between similar images. Therefore, if the wheel rotates most of the way along one frame (image) to the next, the most apparent direction of motion for the brain to comprehend is backwards. The perception that is dominant is what we “believe” (in this case, that the wheel is actually spinning backwards).

Wheels Appearing To Be Spinning Backwards
Why Do Wheels Appear to be Spinning Backwards at High Speeds?
Ishan Daftardar

We have all observed this strange visual phenomenon before.
A car wheel appears to be spinning backwards, even though we know that it is doing exactly the opposite!
At first, when a car begins to speed up, everything seems normal. The car’s wheels are spinning just as one would expect.
However, as soon as the wheels start gaining considerable speed, an anomaly occurs.
At a certain point, the spin of the wheels appears to slow down gradually, and then, for a brief moment, it stops completely.
When it resumes, the spin is moving in the opposite direction. We can clearly observe that the car wheels seem to be spinning backwards (opposite to its direction of motion).
Is this an Optical Illusion or a Real Phenomenon?
Actually, it’s a bit of both, and is known as the Wagon wheel effect.

Illustration of frames per second.
Therefore, if the wheel rotates most of the way along one frame (image) to the next, the most apparent direction of motion for the brain to comprehend is backwards.
This is the explanation for the phenomenon in movies.
However, we also observe the same illusion in real life. Surely, we can’t blame shutter speed for that too!
So What’s the Reason?
There are two theories currently rolling around in this particular field of study…
1) Visual Cortex
cortex
Visual cortex

The visual cortex, which acts almost like a movie camera, processes sensory input in temporal packets, taking a series of snapshots and then creating a continuous scene.
Perhaps our brain processes these still images in the same way as it does the frames in a movie, and the mistake in perception results due to a limited frame rate. This occurs when the light is strobed (not continuous).
2) Perceptual Rivalry
According to this theory, adjacent spinning wheels are observed by people as if they were switching direction independently of each other.
According to the movie camera theory, the two wheels should not behave differently, as the frame rate is the same for everything in the visual field.
neckers cube
Necker’s cube:Human eye isn’t able to decide whether this cube is in 2-D or 3-D
This has led some scientists to a theory that explains the effect as a result of perceptual rivalry, which occurs when the brain creates two different interpretations of one situation, as a way to explain an ambiguous (something that isn’t clear) scene.
The perception that is dominant is what we “believe” (in this case, that the wheel is actually spinning backwards).
So, it’s true, this whole thing has more to it than meets the eye, because science always has a hand in the phenomena we observe!
Here’s a detailed explanation of this bizarre anomaly.

SAFEST COOKWARE - Stainless steel is a mixture of several different metals, including nickel, chromium, and molybdenum, all of which can trickle into foods. Stainless steel cookware in good condition can be considered safe for cooking. Anodized aluminum cookware makes for what many cooks consider an ideal non-stick and scratch-resistant cooking surface. Cast iron cookware can also help ensure that eaters in your house get enough iron — which the body needs to produce red blood cells — as it seeps off the cookware into food in small amounts. For those who like the feel and heat distribution properties of cast iron but dread the seasoning process, ceramic enameled cookware is a good, if expensive, choice. One other surface favored by chefs for sauces and sautés is copper, which excels at quick warm-ups and even heat distribution.

 Safest Cookware
What Type of Cookware Is Safest for Cooking?
by Larry West

We are increasingly careful about the food we eat, and this concern is spreading to the materials in contact with our food.
For example, the choice of a safe reusable water bottle preoccupies many.
Let's examine the choices we have when considering which cookware to use.
Stainless Steel Cookware Combines Different Metals
In reality, stainless steel is really a mixture of several different metals, including nickel, chromium, and molybdenum, all of which can trickle into foods.
However, unless your stainless steel cookware is dinged and pitted, the amount of metals likely to get into your food is negligible.
Stainless steel cookware in good condition can be considered safe for cooking.
Anodized Aluminum Cookware May Be a Safer Alternative
These days, many health-conscious cooks are turning to anodized aluminum cookware as a safer alternative.
The electrochemical anodizing process locks in the cookware’s base metal, aluminum, so that it can’t get into food, and makes for what many cooks consider an ideal non-stick and scratch-resistant cooking surface.
Calphalon is the leading manufacturer of anodized aluminum cookware, but newer offerings from All-Clad (endorsed by celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse) and others are coming on strong.
Can Cast Iron Cookware Actually Improve Health?
Another good choice is that old standby, cast iron, which is known for its durability and its even heat distribution.
Cast iron cookware can also help ensure that eaters in your house get enough iron — which the body needs to produce red blood cells — as it seeps off the cookware into food in small amounts.
Unlike the metals that can come off of some other types of pots and pans, iron is considered a healthy food additive by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Consumers should beware, though, that most cast iron cookware needs to be seasoned after each use to prevent rust and as such is not as worry-free as other alternatives.
Ceramic Cookware Provides Some Benefits of Cast Iron Without the Bother
For those who like the feel and heat distribution properties of cast iron but dread the seasoning process, ceramic enameled cookware is a good, if expensive, choice.
The smooth and colorful enamel is dishwasher-friendly and somewhat non-stick and covers the entire surface of such cookware to minimize clean-up headaches.
Copper Cookware Is Excellent for Certain Uses
One other surface favored by chefs for sauces and sautés is copper, which excels at quick warm-ups and even heat distribution.
Since copper can leak into food in large amounts when heated, the cooking surfaces are usually lined with tin or stainless steel.
Non-Stick Coatings Can Be Safe, If Used Properly
Teflon is a non-stick coating used to prevent food from adhering to the cookware's surface.
Some environmental and health concerns have emerged associated with the manufacturing process of Teflon, but as for its domestic use, the answer is more complex.
Studies have shown that non-stick coatings are stable and safe during normal use conditions.
However, when subject to temperatures above normal cooking heat (above 500 degrees Fahrenheit), fumes can be released.
For a yet to be discovered reason, birds appear sensitive to those fumes.
The American Cancer Society states that there are no known risks associated with Teflon-coated cookware.
With proper use and care, these pots and pan—which constitute more than half of all cookware sales in the U.S.—should be safe to use.
